Colin Winyard

Colin joined the Commercial Property team in December 2013, after spending over 5 years at a leading West End London practice.  Here he dealt with all aspects of commercial property, specialising in property finance and commercial lease transactions for retail, leisure, office and industrial clients.

After qualifying as a solicitor in 1996, Colin spent the first 5 years of his legal career mainly acting for retail and leisure clients for leading regional practices, and he has therefore grown accustomed to the demands of retail and leisure clients, and the need for speedy transactions.  He is also a member of the Southampton Property Association.

In 2002, before his daughter started school, Colin took a gap year in Australia.  On his return to the UK he worked in-house at Winterhur Life and Capita Pensions leading a legal and surveying team advising on all aspects of commercial property ownership.   It was here he honed his skills on working closely with surveyors and other professionals in property transactions.
