HR Hangout - Holiday Pay Calculations: The Harpur vs Brazel Case

With recent changes to the laws surrounding holiday pay calculations, we are inviting you to an HR Hangout to help you think about the strategies you will apply to deal with these changes. If you are someone who employs part year workers, zero hours staff, casual workers, term time only staff, annualised hours staff, then this event is for you. Following the Harpur v Brazel decision they may be entitled to 5.6 weeks of holiday pay even if they only work 1 week a year, which may mean that your holiday pay bill is set to increase dramatically when you apply the case to your payroll. Do not despair however, there are ways of managing this, which we would like to share with you.

This is an online session for any HR personnel and people managers who would like to understand the decision better and feel better equipped to deal with this area. It might also suit finance teams and payroll managers who have the practicalities to apply.
