Warner Goodman LLP race to victory

After their huge success in the Great South Run in October 2012, the Warner Goodman LLP team were delighted to be able to meet with the staff at Ocean Ward, and discuss Familes of Ocean Ward, the charity the team were running to support, raising £1919.10 in donations.

Ocean Ward is Southampton’s Paediatric Cardiac Unit based at Southampton General Hospital, and Families of Ocean Ward provides emotional and financial support to families making use of those facilities.  Their aim is to help bridge the gap between home and hospital by putting families in touch with others whose child has a similar condition and experiences similar problems and issues.

Jane Cox, private client solicitor for Warner Goodman LLP said, “It’s one thing running in a fantastic race like the Great South Run and knowing that your donations will help your chosen charity, but to actually see in person exactly how this will happen was such a moving experience.  The staff and volunteers at Ocean Ward are incredibly inspirational people, and we’re so proud that our donations will go towards their ultimate goal to allow more families to access their facilities and vital support system.”
