Wonderful service from start to finish.
Chandler's Ford team grow in numbers with new office move
Since opening its fourth office in 2018, Warner Goodman LLP has helped over 2000 people in Chandler's Ford and the surrounding areas buy and sell their homes. Although the law firm provides a vast range of legal services, the team at Chandlers Ford specialises in Residential Property and has already established a reputation for excellent customer care in the local community. From their reputation, Warner Goodman now sees the majority of their enquiries coming from recommendations and good relationships with many local estate agents.
The team at Chandler’s Ford started with only three employees based in a small area above an independent estate agent on Winchester Road. Within a year, the team needed to grow due to their early success and had the opportunity to expand to the whole first floor, doubling the area of their existing workspace. Shortly after, the team of three became a team of six.
A year after the expansion, the team faced a challenge no one could have ever anticipated. 2020 was the year COVID-19 hit the UK posing national lockdowns and drastic dips in the economy. The Warner Goodman team was still adjusting to the new office at the time and now had to manage the challenges imposed by the pandemic. A significant challenge for the firm was the unprecedented surge in the property market caused by the Government's Stamp Duty Holiday in 2020 and 2021. The sudden influx in enquiries saw the team work around the clock to ensure exchanges completed on time for clients.
Reflecting on the past two years, Anne Mills (Solicitor and Branch Partner) said, “Our priority since opening the office has always been to provide excellent levels of service to our clients. We were not going to let the impact of the COVID restrictions affect that. We had spent so long building up our reputation that revolved around our friendly and approachable service. Therefore, we ensured the office remained in operation to send and receive post and that our clients could always contact their conveyancer by phone.”
Post-pandemic, the office has continued to go from strength to strength, and in November 2022, Warner Goodman expanded onto the ground floor, taking full control of the building. Since then, refurbishment projects have been underway, transforming the layout into a spacious and inviting area. The ground floor now includes a modern reception and waiting area for clients to be greeted as they walk in. The building has also been equipped with a private meeting room on the ground floor for clients to discuss confidential matters. The additional space also allows other departments in the firm, such as Family, Wills, and Commercial, to work at the office when required and to be able to meet with clients in Chandler’s Ford.
Additional recruitment this year has added two new members of staff to the team at Chandler’s Ford. Anne Mills is delighted with the expansion and said, "We now have the capacity to expand our team even further and continue to offer a service that's second to none for the community here. Chandler's Ford has always been an active market, with very few solicitors in the area. People want a solicitor local to them, and we want that to be us."
Andy Munden (Managing Partner) said, "This year marks the 170th year of Warner Goodman. Our law firm has accomplished many tremendous milestones over the years, and this is another we can look back on in years to come."
