Partnership grows stronger at local law firm

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Jenny Colvin and Naushad Rahman to Partner status as of 1^st May 2019, bringing our total number of Partners to 19.

Jenny Colvin, from our Commercial Property department based in Portsmouth, is the fourth Chartered Legal Executive to become a Partner.  She joined the team in April 2016 and was made an Associate of the firm just a year later.  Jenny offers her clients an approachable, practical and pragmatic service when dealing with commercial property matters, specialising in commercial leases, secured lending, as well as disposals and acquisitions.  Commenting on her promotion, Jenny said, “I am absolutely thrilled to be invited to join the partnership at Warner Goodman. Both the firm and I share an ethos which is client and results driven, and I am delighted that my work to date has been recognised this way.  Being an integral part of such a forward thinking, successful firm is extremely exciting for me, and I am very much looking forward to getting more involved in all aspects of the business in the future.”

Having been with us for just over a year, Naushad Rahman is a Company Commercial Solicitor based in Southampton.  While able to assist with a wide variety of transactions including joint ventures, buy-outs and mergers, Naushad specialises in buying and selling businesses and companies.  One of her many strengths is the ability to adapt to each client, with her previous work including transactions of varying sizes from £100,000 to £18million.  Speaking of her promotion, Naushad commented, “I am delighted to have been appointed Partner in the Company Commercial Department in a firm which has experienced consistent growth throughout the years by virtue of having a reputation for delivering results in the succinct way that our business clients understand. I am thrilled to be involved in the firm’s overall move forwards and upwards in these exciting times.”
