Five new Associates for growing law firm Warner Goodman LLP

  • Posted

As well as two new Partners, the promotions continue for us here at Warner Goodman LLP as five new Associates are announced.

The firm’s Residential Conveyancing team are well represented amongst those celebrations, as Lucy Smith, Genni Cooper and Zoe Fellows all step up to Associate.  Lucy has recently been appointed as Team Leader within the Southampton based Conveyancing team; recognition of her tenacity over recent years and the support she has provided to her colleagues.

Genni, based in the Fareham branch, joined the team in May 2018 and helps clients not only move home but also with more complex transactions such as re-mortgages and auction sales and purchases.  Genni can also advise on new build purchases with and without Help to Buy support, as well as staircasing transactions, for example, if you own through shared ownership and wish to buy a larger proportion of the property.

Last but not least, Natalie Rawson from the Employment team has also been promoted.  Natalie joined the firm in February 2017, working within the Peace of Mind team advising employers on issues they are facing and how they can reduce the risk of tribunal claims.  She has also taken on the role of promoting the bespoke employment law training the team can provide to employers.

Speaking about the promotions, Ed Voller commented, “All five of our new Associates show great strengths and abilities and I know they will bring new ideas to our group of existing Associates.  Being able to offer our staff promotion is an important part of their career and our future; as a firm we will only continue to grow if we embrace new concepts and are inclusive in doing so.  Our groups of Associates consists of all job roles and departments, with not only Solicitors and Chartered Legal Executives represented, but also Marketing and IT.  I am looking forward to seeing how these five new Associates embrace their new responsibilities in the coming months and years.”
