I contacted Warner Goodman’s Injury Department after having an accident in a local supermarket in July 2019 which caused a significant injury to my foot.
The staff at the Supermarket at the time of the accident were very unhelpful, lacked empathy, and were not concerned at all that I had injured myself on their premises. The accident was caused by their lack of housekeeping skills and diligence in doing their job properly.
No apology was forthcoming and in the days and weeks ahead and I became frustrated and incensed at their lack of customer care, especially when I was suffering with a lot of pain and discomfort.
I decided to seek advice in October 2019 when I was not recovering from the injury. Initially it felt quite daunting not knowing what would be involved in pursuing a Personal Injury claim, but I am very glad that I did!

Having had X- rays, an MRI scan, many consultations with different professionals regarding my foot injury during my claim process, I felt I could talk openly and honestly to Dan about the pain and discomfort and also discuss the the long term ramifications of my injury, and he in turn would help summarise the extent of my injury, (as I did not always understand the professionals jargon) and he would give me clarity at each stage as to what would be the next step going forward, and how to achieve the best outcome for my rehabilitation.
At one stage it was recommended by a professional that I purchased over the counter orthotics to go in my shoes. I decided to contact Dan to discuss whether I should purchase these, or consider having specialist orthotics made to measure. I felt I could ask Dan, as he had previously reassured me that there were no right or wrong answers and he would help give me guidance to make the right decision for me.
I decided to seek private medical advice, which in turn lead to six physiotherapy appointments. The exercises I was taught will be invaluable to me going forward, as I will always have pain and ongoing issues with my foot, and I now have choices also regarding which orthotics I choose going forward.
Without coming to Warner Goodman and to Dan, I would never have fully known the extent of the Injury to my foot. With Dan's professional help, support and knowledge, I can continue to improve my walking/physical well-being knowing I have had the best advice possible.
